So here we are a few days before Thanksgiving. The tradition of this Holiday is to remind us of being Thankful. I know for one it hasn’t been until recently that I have really stopped to realize how much I have to be thankful for. 

There is so much that can be taken for granted that until you begin to see how much richness and abundance you have in your life, it is an embarrassment to complain about certain expectations, which often tends to be a temporary materialistic high. 

A close friend of mine has recently been diagnosed with cancer. Her world and perspective has illuminated onto me. We walk in the mornings and often discuss how fortunate we are to have the ability to wake up in the morning and enjoy the warm sun on us. We share the silly things our kids do and laugh how their personalities and expressions are so funny. As little as these moments seem, they are quite huge, at least I think they are to the both of us. I am thankful that I have them. 

Having a wonderful home and decorating it to your personality is gratifying, but ultimately it is really the friends, family and memories that you share and take the time to appreciate are the true wealth of your surroundings. This creates the ultimate richness in your life.
