We have three different white glove delivery services for
our furniture.
1) White
Glove Basic Service- This is delivered into your home through any first dry
door. The item is not unpacked and
the debris is not removed.
2) White
Glove Standard Service- This delivered into your home (room of choice),
unpacked and the debris is removed.
3) White
Glove Premium Service- This is delivered into your home, (room of choice),
unpacked, debris is removed and assembly is included.
We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time
offered to you by Mig and Tig or other parties, only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely
fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability. We are
always available to check on the status of your order.
Any change of delivery date, address or telephone number
must be received in writing and called into our delivery department before
midnight a week before the specified delivery date. We cannot deliver to APO, FPO, PO Boxes or personal
mailboxes. Please use a valid
street address for delivery of our order.
Furniture and large items often ship via freight
carrier. Most carriers schedule
deliveries Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Freight companies will contact you a few days prior to the delivery to schedule
a delivery date and time frame (typically 2-4 hours blocks) that works for you.
At the time of delivery scheduling, our delivery company
will review with you, the location of the delivery, stairs etc. as final
confirmation of delivery. If
information has changed, is inaccurate or has been omitted since time of
schedule, your quote may change accordingly and additional delivery charges may
apply.
When your merchandise has shipped, our white glove delivery
company will call to set up a delivery.
Your delivery date must be scheduled within 7 days of notification. If
you need to reschedule the delivery with our carrier, please contact them as
soon as possible so as not to incur any charges for missed delivery
appointments. If a date is not
scheduled within 7 days from the first notification, a monthly
storage/maintenance charge of 10% of merchandise value will accrue to your
invoice and be due and is considered part of your balance. This must be paid prior to delivery. If merchandise is not delivered or
picked up after 30 days of first notification, merchandise may be considered
abandoned and the client forfeits merchandise, all payments and remains liable
for any unpaid balances.
If your schedule appointment is missed, you will be charged
a delivery trip fee. Please do not
arrange for the item(s) to be delivered when no one is home to receive
them. Although our suppliers take
great care in packaging their goods for shipping, damages may occur in transit. Furniture items must be carefully
inspected BEFORE you sign for the delivery. Mig and Tig will be unable to assist you in the replacement
of damaged goods or reimbursement if claim procedures are not followed.
You, the customer, will be responsible for making yourself
available for taking the delivery and inspecting the product at the time of
delivery. If you authorize the
product to be delivered in your absence or without your inspection, you
automatically represent that the product is received in good condition and will
void all rights to returns, claims and insurance!
If there is damage and is severe, you agree to refuse only
the item that is damaged and make notations on the freight bill. You are also required to submit digital
photographs of damaged material that should be clearly visible in the digital
photograph to substantiate the claim within one day of receiving shipment.
In case the damage is noticed after unpacking the goods or
delivery service has left, you agree to notify the trucking company as well as
Mig and Tig immediately (within 24 hours)
with digital photographs clearly indicating the damage. In such an event, the claim will
have to be initiated by the consignee, you the customer, as concealed damage.
In cases where multiple items are part of an order, the
charge back allowed on your credit card will be limited to the value of the
damaged item or items after the above mentioned evidence is submitted and
approved. Items received in good
condition or without any evidence of damage as stipulated above will be charged
as listed in the payment section.
Mig and Tig CANNOT and WILL NOT accept any items returned without prior
approval or authorization.
Mig and Tig does not accept delivery instructions to any
other delivery address instead of the valid delivery address specified at the
time of the order. We also
strongly advise against any customer request of pick up of merchandise from the
truckers terminal or any location other than the delivery address. In such a case, Mig and Tig will not be
liable for any damages whatsoever, should damages be noticed later.
Mig and Tig is not liable for damages other than those
mentioned on the truckers delivery
receipt. Please ensure you inspect
the content of all merchandise before signing on the trucking/shipping
receipt.
If you live in a remote or difficult access area, please
advise us of the local receiving
facilities location for acceptance of
goods at time of order.
All Mig and Tig terms and
conditions apply to receivers when a local storage facilities accept goods.
Should you wish to have our carriers deliver to a difficult
access area,
they will do their best to arrange the proper vehicle to
deliver your product(s) to avoid any additional charges. In the event, your products cannot be
delivered due to access restrictions, arrangements can be made where a local
depot can hold your goods up to 3 days at no charge, where you may pick
up. Merchandise held
beyond 3 days will have a monthly storage/maintenance charge of 10% of
merchandise value and will accrue to your invoice and be due and is considered
part of your balance. This must be
paid prior to release. If
merchandise is not delivered or picked up after 15 days of first notification,
merchandise is considered abandoned and the client forfeits merchandise, all
payments and remains liable for any unpaid balances.
Merchandise that is delivered to a customers home and is
unable to fit due to access restrictions (door openings, hallway turns,
staircases, elevator restrictions, etc.) will not become the obligation of Mig
and Tig to maneuver merchandise in.
Please measure first. Once
at a location, Mig and Tig reserves the right to refuse a delivery due to
difficulty that could result in damage to the product or customers home. Should this occur, delivery charges
both ways will not be refunded and a restocking fee of 20% will apply.
Mig and Tig holds the recipient responsible for areas that
may be subject to soiling when being delivered. Please lay down drop clothes to protect carpets or floors
and remove items that can obstruct a delivery. Mig and Tig and its delivery service will not be responsible
for any damage.
